Each of the program’s two weekends consists of 5 talks, online discussion groups with senior students and meditation groups. With a new and exceptional translation by Ann Helm, Mipham Rinpoche’s Sword of Wisdom brings together the two truths of Madhyamaka through the lens of valid cognition.What is the MSB Shedra?Unlike most general Dharma programs, the MSB Shedra provides an opportunity to study in great depth the philosophy of Madhyamaka from both the Svatantrika and Prasangika perspectives. The word shedra refers to a traditional monastic college of higher learning, with a course of study lasting from ten to thirteen years. Who is Eligible to Attend the Shedra?This is a public program and all are welcome to attend the Shedra program with Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche. There are no pre-requisites.
