Wisdom and Compassion: Essentials of Mahayana Buddhism

If our compassion is weak, whatever wisdom we attain will be of little help to others. But if we cultivate compassion without wisdom, we will lack the vision, strength, and skill to benefit others in the most profound way: by guiding them toward their own enlightenment. This is why wisdom and compassion are traditionally compared to the wings of a bird. Both are necessary to fly.
Upcoming online event hosted by the Boulder Shambhala Center.
