Karuna Maitri Fund

Kongtrul Rinpoche’s vision for Karuna Maitri is that sangha volunteers would serve as a support to those who are having a hard time in their lives due to loss, illness, or mental health challenges, and to offer support during the death and dying process. Karuna Maitri will help link people with community resources and provide support for those who are inspired to serve in such a way.  Participation would be self-inspired, based on compassion and the wish to help others. The working teams would form as situations and needs arise. Karuna Maitri has a small discretionary fund to help sangha members with temporary resource gaps.
